WHY SIEVING?

Vibrowest Italiana is a leader in the production of a wide range of screening equipment. When we talk about sieving or screening we refer to the process to classify products into classes of different particle sizes, that initially are belonging to a heterogeneous agglomeration of substances.

Vibrowest is able to provide customized vibrating screens respecting the customer’s plant and requirements.  

We can divide the screening process as follows:

• CONTROL SCREENING

 when a quantity of product between 95 ÷ 100% is passing through the screen; 

• CLASSIFICATION

 when a quantity of product between 20 ÷ 95% is passing through the screen;

DEDUSTING 

when a quantity of product between 0 ÷ 20% is passing through the screen.

 
 

 

Among the various sieving process, and in the specific food industry, our customers require the classification of ingredients in powder or granules and the filtration of liquids. One particular example is concerning the processing of the chocolate. Vibrowest’s vibrating sieves and tumbler screeners in this case are important in the classification of powders, check screening by removing oversize contamination and in the filtration of the liquid chocolate, in order to guarantee high quality standards of the final product.
