Weston static sieve
Vibrowest Static sieve provides fast, efficient separation of solids from liquids.
It is ideally suited for applications utilizing large quantities of water such as municipalities, canneries, fruit and vegetables processors, fish processors, pulp and paper mills, and others.
The advantages of this low-cost treatment approach are many. Among them: no moving parts, high flow rate, long screen life and ease of installation, operation and maintenance.
Maximum efficiency and speed are achieved through the use of a slotted screen formed in a cycloid – a curve of quickest descent – and a head box designed for minimum turbulence.
Models are available in 2 sizes. The Weston static sieve 24” with a 600 mm screen width and up to 60 m³/h throughput capacity. And the Weston static 48” with a mm 1.200 screen width and up to 130 m³/h capacity. Screen slot openings ranging from mm 0,150 to mm 2,5 are offered to meet various application requirements. The Weston static can be operated independently for liquids/solids separation or as a system component in conjunction with Vibrowest circular and rectangular separators and centrifugal screen.
