LOW PROFILE CIRCULAR SEPARATOR
Vibrowest low profile circular sieve MSC model has central outlet and is designed for safety screening or control sieving. It segregates granular products, powder and liquid into various particle sizes ranging from 51 mm to 0,033 mm (400 mesh).
Safety screening, sometimes known as control sieving or security/check screening of powders, is done to ensure the correct product quality of powders. Basically, the sieve removes any oversized contamination from the powder, which could be something that has accidentally found its way into the process line (e.g. some packaging or extraneous particles that may be inherent in the material). Removal of this contamination improves the quality of the powder and final product and, therefore, safeguards company's reputation.
Vibrowest low profile circular sieve is assembled with two imbalanced-weight motors on opposite sides of the exterior lower deck. It allows the bottom outlet to be positioned directly below the top inlet, minimizes height requirement and enable material to fall vertically through the screens at high rates.
Standard model range in diameter size from 440 mm to 1.800 mm.
The sieve mesh itself is easily and quickly removable so that its aperture size can be changed according to the powder or liquid being processed. Vibrowest separators use mesh that is securely bonded with adhesive to a frame, which gives a really highe tension in the mesh. Having a consistent and high tension level gives better throughputs and reduces blinding or blocking of the sieve apertures. Another recent development is the use of FDA-approved adhesive to bond the sieve mesh to the frame.Screens can also be equipped with various cleaning system as: balls, kleeners, starbrush, CIP and the innovative ultrasonic cleaning system.
The separator can be built on customer request with carbon steel, stainless steel AISI 304, stainless steel AISI 316.
On request: ATEX certification, FDA IQ-OQ procedure, GMP. All product contact areas can be polished in accordance with Sanitary Standard.
Compact design, high level of efficiency and reliability allow MSC model to be adapted easily into product lines.
